East Elk Grove’s Future

What is the Future of East Elk Grove ?

  • July 20,2023 Meeting Claims were made by the Vulcan Representative (1) that the Dust would be managed and kept sprayed down, (2) It would not be a major impact to traffic or noise pollution along the Waterman Rd. corridor.
  • What I feel is unfair about the Public Meetings. They called for public comments, There were only three or four commenters. Commenter’s are limited to only 3 minutes time to get their points across to the council. On the other hand, the Lawyer representing Vulcan Materials had all the time he needed to get his points across.

Other Developments I’ve received information from the City of Elk Grove about Waterman Rd. can be seen drawn on the image below.

Brinkman (Buzz Oates) project is shown as Building A and Building B in Brown.  This was agreed to by the Supervisors of Elk Grove already.  We believe that the Waterman 20 project has also been approved and is shown to the right of the picture as smaller buildings with a large parking area for trucks under the powerlines north of Mosher rd.  The Grant Line Construction Aggregate Production and Recycling Facility Project (PLING21-001) proposed by Vulcan Materials Company is shown to the west of Brinkman Building B and south of Building A.
